3-Dimensionsional Cutting

Cybermation

General Imaging uses an Computer Aided Machine (CAM) system to cut accurate 3-D Shapes from a variety of plastics, woods, and metal laminates. We refer to the system of Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) software and hardware router as the CYB system (sounds like "sigh" plus a "B").

The CYB system can produce smooth-edged shapes, such as letters, in heights from 1 inch to 12 feet and widths to 8 feet. Material thicknesses can range from 1/16- to 1-inch (greater thickness are possible in soft materials like foam core and styrofoam).

For exterior and interior signage systems the CYB is ideal. Finished products are, depending on the material used, lightweight and durable. Using lamination techniques a huge selection of finishes are available. Turn around times, are ideally, 5 days.

The CYB system can reproduce practically any vector art produced on a computer and has been used for non-signage applications ranging from construction jigs to stand up human figures to lattice frames.
